Late January saw researchers from the Fire in the Landscape series of projects gather with end users to explore the initial research results. Around 20 researchers, end users and fire management planning experts discussed the potential implications of the research and next steps, led by project leader Dr Tina Bell, University of Sydney, and lead end user Neil Cooper, ACT Parks, Conservation and Land Service. End user/researcher collaboration such as this is a vital aspect of utilising research. I encourage other projects to take similar approaches, please contact me if you’d like assistance.
