A Stakeholders'/Participants' Council meeting was held in Adelaide on 27 June 2012.

Northern Australian Fire Managers Forum

Fire Managers from across the north of Australia discussed topics of current interest to the region at the Northern Australian Fire Management group forum in Townsville on 19-20 June 2012.

Research Advisory Forum Hobart 2012_2

The sixth Research Advisory Forum was held in Hobart, in May 2012.

Marty Alexander

The Bushfire CRC, the New South Wales Rural Fire Service and the University of Sydney hosted a seminar on fire danger rating and fire behaviour with Dr Marty Alexander.

The Bushfire CRC sent a delegation of researchers and end-user partners to present at the 3rd Human Dimensions of Wildland Fire conference in Seattle, Washington in April 2012.

Important research has been conducted over the past few years in respect to firefighter cooling and hydration, designed to ensure the firefighters' core temperatures are maintained at a safe level.
