About

Inosha Jayakodige is a PhD candidate in the School of Mechanical, Medical, and Process Engineering at Queensland University of Technology. Her research focuses on developing a physics-based model to predict the uncontrolled drying of heterogeneous fuels during bushfires. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, I bring strong analytical and modelling skills to advance fire behaviour prediction.

Inosha is currently an Centre-funded intern with Northern Territory Fire and Emergency Services. She aims to bridge research and practical application in bushfire management, contributing to improved fire modelling and supporting informed operational decision-making.
