About
Nick Nicolopoulos is a senior strategist and analytics leader with over 40 years’ experience in business intelligence, statistics, and performance management across the public sector, particularly in emergency services. He is currently Manager of Enterprise Performance and Insights at Fire and Rescue NSW, leading enterprise-wide performance reporting, analytics and data governance initiatives that inform strategic decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and improve community safety outcomes.
Throughout his career, he has developed and implemented data governance frameworks, corporate performance reporting systems, and national data standards, providing evidence-based insights to support policy, resource allocation, and service delivery. He has extensive experience translating complex statistical and analytical findings into actionable strategies, and in leading cross-agency projects to improve emergency management capabilities.
He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Applied Statistics and was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2006 for outstanding public service.
